Garren Frasher's Senior Portraits--September 2010

Saturday I had the privilege of taking Garren's F's Senior Portraits. I'm so glad that he and his parents have to choose which ones to print, because I don't think that I could decide! There are lots and lots of good ones.
This is one of my favorite close-ups!

I'm not sure what it is, but I think his mom will really really like this one.
I like the way this one turned out with the sepia and filters.

The angle of this one really sets it off.

I used a watercolor filter on this one.  I like the way it brings out his facial features, as well as the rough texture on the wall behind him.
The perspective on this shot allows you to see what a tall young man he is!

This picture looks just right in black and white!

Thanks so much for trusting your Senior portraits to my lens! It was a pleasure to work with you, and I hope you are very pleased with the results. I will finish editing your photos and have your portrait cd ready for you by the beginning of the week.

Caleb Sheesley's 2nd Birthday Photo Shoot

Last week I had the pleasure of taking photos of a sweet little boy who just turned two! Here's Caleb the Cutie-Bug...

Caleb loves being outside, so we had lots of fun playing together during his photo shoot...

He's really concentrating as his mommy holds his hand to help him climb the rocks.  Look at those sweet little lips!

Such a dolly!

Caleb liked the bridge and looking down at the water...

He's very serious in this shot...

All sweet and smiley.  I'll bet this is the look he gives his mommy when he's ready for a snuggle!

Caleb kept finding little leaves and sticks and sharing them with me.  Who can resist that??

I'm not sure what it is about this shot, but I just love it!

These little flowers were sure attracting the butterflies at the Butterfly Garden!

Busy little boy.  (This shot reminds me of the little sister running down the hill on the opening of Little House on the Prairie! :o)

Caleb's Collage...

Thanks so much, Scott and Tonia, for trusting your adorable young man to my lens. He was a joy to work with, and I had a great time photographing him. I will finish editing his pictures and have your portrait cd (with these photos and many more!) ready for you sometime this weekend.

Taylor Family Photo Shoot

On Labor Day, I had the privilege of taking pictures for the "T" Family. They include Jim and Cheryl, and their two adult sons: Nathan and his wife, Sara, and baby boy, Sam. Eli and his wife, Katy, and their children, Haylee and Landin.

Here are Nathan and Sara with Baby Sam. What a sweet little family!

Here are Eli, Katy, Haylee, and Landin.  I've done portraits for Eli and Katy's family before, and I just couldn't believe how much their two little cutie-bugs have grown!

Here are the proud Grandpa and Grandma, aka Jim and Cheryl...

Here's a shot of the whole group.  I like the way they color-coordinated so you can tell who belongs to who!

This little guy was so wonderfully patient!  He was happy and smiley the whole time, which is quite unusual during a photo shoot for one so young.

Miss Haylee just had a birthday, and now she's a big ol' 7 year old!  Happy birthday, Haylee!

Little Landin is a sweet 3 year old...

Smiley little Sam...

Sara, Sam, and Nathan...

Haylee and Landin are both at fun ages.  They're just so cute!

Katy and Eli by the waterfall...

Jim and Cheryl with their sweet grandchildren...

I just love baby profiles...

It's so sweet, too, how Baby Sam smiles with his eyes!

Eli, Haylee, Landin, and Katy.  They look so cute sitting on the boulders!

Love this profile shot of Miss Haylee...

Cute little Landin...

Nathan, Sara, and Sam by the waterfall...

"Really??  I get to play with the big kids??  Yessss!"

Haylee looks so much like her mommy!  I love both of their expressions in this photo...

You know how Miss Janet loves those toothless grins!

Sweet profile of Mr Landin...

The whole gang...

Happy Baby Sam...

and I had to include some of those cute little toes in a picture! (along with Miss Haylee's pretty flower she found)

Off they go to enjoy the rest of their holiday weekend!

Thanks so much, Jim, Cheryl, Eli, Katy, Nathan, and Sara for trusting your families to my lens. It was a pleasure to work with you during your photo shoot. I will finish editing your pictures, and have your portrait cd's ready for you at the beginning of the week!
