Mattie C Photo Shoot--Dec 2009

Last Friday morning I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot for a lovely young lady who has just turned 2 years old. Miss Mattie did such a great job and really enjoyed herself! Here's the little cutie...
She has a beautiful complexion that is just right for black and white photos. That might sound strange, but not everyone looks good in black and white. Her gorgeous creamy complexion was perfect for it!
What a sweetie-pie...don't you just love her little hat??
Precious...
She was quite the little model!
Love that sweet profile...
She looks like such a big girl in this picture!
Had to capture that playful side, too!
And the curious side...
I would think that this pouty expression would work wonders with Daddy! :o)
What a doll!
We had such a nice time playing together. What a sweet gal she is!
And here's Miss Mattie's collage...
Thanks so much, Adam and Angie, for sharing your precious Mattie with my lens. I will finish editing your photos and have your portrait cd ready for you when you get back from your vacation this week!

W & S Families Photo Shoot--Nov 2009

Recently, I had the privilege of taking photos for the W and S Families. I hadn't seen them for ages, and it was so great to see them again. Back row (l to r): Jim, Belinda, Brad, and DJ. Front row (l to r): Kailey, Mackenzie, Becca, Meredith, and Ethan.
The S Family is such a sweet group! Here are Ethan, Meredith, Kailey, DJ, and Mackenzie...
This was the first time I got to meet Mr Ethan. He is a sweetie!
Miss Mackenzie is such a young lady now. I remember when she was one of my little bitty preschoolers...
I love this picture of Kailey in front of the girly-girl Christmas tree. It really looks like she is in front of a backdrop, or the background was photo-shopped in, but...alas...it's a real tree! We were at Union Station and they were putting up all different themed Christmas trees.
All three of the S Family kiddos. Aren't they cutie-bugs??
Uncle Brad was able to get lots of giggles out of little Ethan...
Do you think she'd like some cheese to go with that ham??? :o) I just had to put this one in because it cracks me up every time I look at it!
Here are the girls with their Aunt Becca. Becca used to babysit for our kids, and let me tell ya, they love her to pieces!!
Here are the girlies with their brother...Becca, Brad, and Meredith. Meredith is holding a rose in memory of their brother who passed away as an infant.
Two silly sisters. (They had just finished re-inacting the Marilyn Monroe scene of her skirt and hair blowing in the air.)
Mom with her girls...
Nana and Kailey...
DJ with his boy...
Anyone care to dance??
Here's the reaction I got when asking the girls to give their dad a kiss on the cheek. Ummm...I don't think so! :o) Love these expressions!!
DJ and his girlies...
We tried an upward focus shot, but I had some trouble with the lighting. Still, I like the overall look...
Nana and Mackenzie...
Love this picture of Kailey lovin' on her baby brother. Mackenzie and Kailey are such great big sisters!
Another group shot of the S Family...
And one final shot of the whole gang...
Thanks so much for trusting your family to my lens. It was a joy to see you again and to capture some photos of your family. I will finish editing the pictures and have your portrait cd ready for you in the next couple of days.

McQ Family Photo Shoot---Nov 2009

Recently, I had the privilege of taking photos for the McQ family, as well as their extended families. This posting, as well as the following two, go together, so be sure to view them all! Here are Karlee, Tamy, Mark, and Logan...
Little Logan is so photogenic! I just had to capture a shot of him playing with his train. I thought that leaving the train its original color, and having the rest of the photo in black and white, might be a fun touch...
Here's Little Miss Personality, Karlee Jo. This girl was smiling from the time they brought her home from the hospital as a newborn. (Really...I witnessed it myself on more than one occasion!) I know that many of you have been praying for Karlee's family, as Karlee went through over a year of chemo treatments. Good news...Karlee just had her 9 month scans and they were clear! Woo-hoo! Look at this happy 4 year old face!
Here are the two little monkeys together...
Here are Logan (2 yrs), Karlee (4 yrs), and their cute cousin, Archer (4 yrs)...
Here's a picture of the whole gang. (l to r): Thomas, Archer, Amy, Karlee, Tamy, Logan, Mark, McIver, Hazel, Don, and Pat...
This little 2 year old loves to play outside!
Toward the end of our photo shoot, Miss Karlee was ready for some alone-time with her Barbie. I'm pretty sure that my body used to be flexible enough to sit like that!
Mark and Tamy...what a neat couple! I'm so blessed to be able to call them friends!
The McQ family...
Mark and Tamy's family with Tamy's parents...
Tamy, with her mom Pat, and her sister Amy...
Dad with his two girlies...
I always love the photo right after the kiss. (I do believe that the 3 of them have matching dimples! Sweet!)
Mark and Tamy's family with Mark's parents...
Here is Mark with his parents, McIver and Hazel...I'm sure from this picture that these two must never fight at all...:o) (Well...maybe not 'never', but they sure are good buddies!)
Tamy and Mark...
Can you believe she was laughing at me? Well...after all, I did have a dancing Barbie on my head! (Thanks Tamy!)
Doesn't he look 'all boy' in this shot??
Karlee, Tamy, Mark, and Logan...
Another family shot...
And another large group photo...
The three cousins hangin' out and havin' fun...
I love those little pursed lips as he is deep in thought...
Karlee is getting some tickles from her daddy...
I just had to put this picture in here. The expression on Logan's face is priceless! What a hoot!
Thanks so much, Mark and Tamy, for trusting your family to my lens. What an awesome family you have! I'll have your portrait cd ready for you in the next few days!
